I had been selling my images since I was 15. By the time I was 19 I thought I was pretty good. I got hired on a part time basis to carry stuff for a photographer. So in a sense all I was, was very cheap labor to carry stuff, my ability with a camera was incidental.

Sanjeev Singhal is a professional headshot and portrait photographer based in Carlsbad, California. A lifelong photography enthusiast, Sanjeev spent more than 20 years owning and operating multiple hotel brands before selling his business to pursue his passion for photography full-time.
Today, Sanjeev is an Associate & Mentor with Peter Hurley’s Headshot Crew, a Westcott Lighting Ambassador, and a 17hats Ambassador. As the owner of Broadway Headshots, he specializes in creating modern, expressive headshots and portraits, using his expertise in lighting, posing, and coaching to bring out the confidence and personality of every person in front of his camera.
Beyond the studio, Sanjeev is an avid travel and landscape photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around him. He also enjoys music and sports photography, where he loves capturing the energy, emotion, and decisive moments of live events.
Sanjeev is passionate about photography education, sharing his knowledge and experiences with fellow photographers, and helping others grow creatively and professionally.
